The sump also has a built in probe holder. Incoming water enters a chamber, and then is diverted into the separate sump refugium chambers.

The Advance series filter also features a baffle between the sump/refugium compartments, and return pump chamber pump not included, that contains foam block to remove air bubbles, further trap debris. You are getting a great price for that reason. The open sump chamber is large enough to house a Protein Skimmer, Media Reactor, or other equipment. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced fish keeper, this sump tank is great addition to any aquarium setup.
