Details:

Ron besides this cosmetic flaw the cartridge looks fairly unused. Perhaps it will work better with split at the top, there is no difference which my guess. But still this is sold as.

I have listed 4 different shipping options. This weighs just under 10lbs as is, so am figuring 13lbs fully packaged.

The dirt should simply catch in opening and not at all bypass cartridge. Your guess is as good mine to the cause of this. I buy and sell aquarium supplies equipment here so did not use this myself.

There is some minor rust around the gauge as showing photos shipping weight on this guesstimated at 13 lbs. I have chosen to install cartridge with the split at bottom.
